What data we collect

This site collects personal data only if you choose to contact us through the form on the Contact page: name, phone number, optional email address, treatment you're interested in, and any message. We don't use profiling cookies, don't run analytics or tracking tools, and don't sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

How the contact form works

When you submit the form, your details pass from our site to Resend, the service we use to email Lucia: we don't save them to any database or keep them after sending. They only remain in the email Lucia receives in her inbox. If you'd rather not use the form, you can email her directly at info@luciafoggiapmu.com or call.

Cookies and your browser's local storage

The site saves a few technical bits of information in your browser via localStorage: your chosen language, your light/dark theme preference, and, on the Costs page, your display currency (guessed from your browser's time zone, or whichever you pick manually). This stays on your device, is never sent to the site or to anyone else, and doesn't require consent since it's strictly necessary for the interface to work. The site doesn't use third-party cookies or advertising trackers.

Fonts and site resources

The site's typefaces are hosted directly on our own servers: no data is sent to external services like Google Fonts to display the pages.

Links to external sites

The site links to Facebook and Instagram. Clicking these takes you off our site, onto platforms with their own privacy policy, independent of ours.

Data retention

Since the contact form doesn't save data to a database, we don't keep any record of data submitted through the site. Messages received by email are kept according to the studio's normal email handling, for as long as it takes to reply to your request.

Security and data breaches

The contact form doesn't save data to a database, so the risk of a data breach through the site stays low. If an event ever occurred that posed a real risk to your data, we'd notify you as required by the Australian Notifiable Data Breaches scheme or, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Your rights if you're writing from Australia

Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to know what data we collect, to access it, to ask us to correct it if it's wrong, and to know how it's handled. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@luciafoggiapmu.com. If you're not happy with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Your rights if you're writing from Italy or the EU

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@luciafoggiapmu.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
